Samsung's Galaxy S4 Landing in the UK Starting April 25th

During Samsung‘s event this evening, they announced that the Samsung Galaxy S4 would be landing in 155 different countries, and on 327 mobile operators. We’ve already confirmed the US and Canadian carriers. Now we are finding out that some retailers in the UK will be selling the Galaxy S4 starting April 25th.

Carphone Warehouse will start selling the Galaxy S4 on April 25th, Phones4U on April 26th. Samsung Mobile boss JK Shin stated during the event that the device would be available at the end of April, so these dates tie right into that. Currently, it’s about midnight in the UK. So we won’t know to much about UK carriers and plans until tomorrow or later this week. But we do know that EE (Everything Everywhere, T-Mobile and Orange’s joint venture) will begin shipping the Galaxy S4 on April 26th and pre-orders beginning on March 28th.

We’ll be sure to keep you up to date with all the news of which UK carriers will have the Galaxy S4 in Q2. In the meantime, feel free to drool over the specs of the Galaxy S4, and you guys are lucky since you’ll be getting the Exynos 5 Octa processor. Those of us in the US are stuck with the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, yes the Snapdragon S4 Pro! You can also go ahead and check out our comparison of the Galaxy S4 to the Xperia Z and HTC One, the other 2013 flagship devices from competitors.
