Want a 64GB HTC One? You'll Have to Go To AT&T

That’s right folks, AT&T seems to have snagged an exclusive on having the 64GB HTC One in the US. Which is a bit strange to me. If you remember the Galaxy S3 last year, AT&T was the only carrier to only offer the 16GB, now with the HTC One they will be the only to offer the 64GB version. Kinda odd right? So what does this mean for our friends on T-Mobile and Sprint? Well T-Mobile users could buy an unlocked one from AT&T or international one and use it on their T-Mobile plan. But Sprint unfortunately is stuck with the 32GB version. It’s not the worst thing in the world though.

The AT&T one will still have all the features and specs you were expecting to see, even those that are on the Sprint and T-Mobile (and perhaps the Verizon one when it finally shows up) variants of the HTC One.

  • 4.7-inch 1080p display giving it a 468ppi
  • 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 32/64GB internal storage; No microSD card slot
  • Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS and GLONASS
  • 2,300mAh battery
  • Android 4.1.2
  • Sense 5.0
  • IR Reciever allowing you to use the HTC One as a TV remote

So far there’s still no word on pricing or availability. But I’ll go out on a limb here and say that we’ll see it priced at $199 for the 32GB and $299 for the 64GB on contract. And we should also see it starting to hit stores late April and early May. Of course, this isn’t official pricing but what I think we’ll see it priced at.
