WSJ: Swiftkey Integration Coming to the Galaxy S4

We are just a few hours away from Samsung’s Unpacked event in New York City where they will announce the new Galaxy S4. Their flagship phone for 2013. We also have the live stream of the event so you can check it out along with us. Today, The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Galaxy S4 is going to come with Swiftkey Integration. Now if you aren’t familiar with Swiftkey, it’s a great third-party keyboard. It has really great predictive text, along with flow which is their version of Swype. For those that haven’t heard of it, you can check out the video below to learn more about it.

WSJ is using unnamed people that are familiar with the matter, that Samsung’s Galaxy S4 will feature integration with Swiftkey:

Case in point, Samsung Electronics Co. will include SwiftKey’s predictive technology in the new Samsung Galaxy S 4 [sic], which will be unveiled at an event in New York on Thursday, according to a person familiar with the matter.

“In the Android space where you have a lot of competition, a little thing like [predictive typing] can make a huge difference,” said Rob Enderle, principal analyst at Enderle Group.
