Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Starts to See Jelly Bean
If you’re one of the few out there that picked up the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, then you’ll be pleased to hear that Jelly Bean could be hitting your device soon. SamMobile are reporting that the Android 4.1.2 update has been hitting devices in Austria, of the GT-P6200 model number. Users with the GT-P6210 WiFi Only model might have to wait a little longer but, it shouldn’t be too much of a wait to get Google Now and more!
U.S. Cellular Galaxy Axiom Updated to Jelly Bean
Some more Samsung, and some more Jelly Bean news for you all here. Folks on U.S. Cellular with the Galaxy Axiom should have seen an update to Android 4.1.2 roll out to their devices by now. So, users of the device will be getting Google Now, expandable notifications and more! The roll out is done in phases so it might not have hit your device yet, if it hasn’t or you can’t SamMobile have the firmware for you.
LG’s Optimus 4X HD Updated to Android 4.1.2
Even more Jelly Bean news for you! It’s nice to see these updates finally getting out there, right? Users of LG’s Optimus 4X HD have had their long wait for Jelly Bean finally put to an end. This is perhaps more news for our European friends, as the rollout seems to be pretty steady over there. AT&T’s Galaxy S II Skyrocket Updated to….That’s Right, Jelly Bean
Hey look! AT&T are actually handing out an update! Wow. Skyrocket users can now enjoy Android 4.1 on their devices. You know the drill by now, right? Google Now, Project Butter, Notification enhancements and general speed improvements are par for the course when it comes to Jelly Bean. For those looking for info on how to get the update, Samsung has you covered.
ASUS Posts Full Android 4.2.1 Update for Transformer Infinty
Perhaps the best news to come out of the last 7 days or so of updates is ASUS keeping the Infinity up-to-date. They updated the device to Android 4.2.1, something nobody else has managed to do just yet and now, the update is online for all you Transformers to download. Not all of the versions are available just yet but, the US and Worldwider versions are and we’re sure ASUS is adding more all the time, you can download the firmware here.
Sprint’s Galaxy Victory 4G LTE Gets….Jelly Bean!
Samsung’s Jelly bean charge to update as many of their devices as possible is reall quite admirable and while it might not be rolling out Android 4.2 to these devices, they’re doing a much better job than most – *cough* HTC *cough* – and now it’s Sprint’s Galaxy Victory’s turn to get in on the Jelly Bean fun. This will update your device ato Android 4.1.2 and you can find out more about the update directly from Sprint.
