Google will be live streaming the up-coming event Coachella 2013 on YouTube for all our viewing pleasure. The event is set from the 12th to the 14th of April.
Apart from that, Google Music will be featuring a playlist with songs from some of the more popular bands to play at the event. Among these bands are Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Stone Roses, The Faint and Jurassic 5 to name a few. The playlist features 18 tracks, 17 of which are free.

Above you have the 12 second announcement video clip, which you can also view in 3D for some reason. The interesting part is that the clip has been disliked by more than half of the viewers (140 dislikes against 80 likes), and more than that, it has a series of weird comments, most of which are random keyboard-ramming comments. Strange…very strange.
If you’re planning to tune in to the festival, the stream will be available on Coachella’s channel. Until then, you can see the schedule on their channel and when the artist you plan to watch will be playing.
On the first day, be sure to check out Beardyman, which brings one of the most interesting concerts you will get to see anytime soon. The beatboxer uses all kinds of equipment to record and modify his voice to make songs on the spot, or make his own version of songs the audience screams out. On the second day, near the end of the festival, you can check out Phoenix (indie band from France) and Moby (you all know Moby). And on the third day, my personal favorite, Vampire Weekend will be playing.
While watching the stream is nothing like being there, it still is something for all of us that can’t join in on the fun. So whether your favorite band will be playing, or you wanted to go to Coachella, we’ll be seeing each other in the comment section.
