Leak: Is this Samsung's New Design Language for the Galaxy Note 3?

Over the weekend a report came in from Sam Mobile that Samsung was “worried” about their build quality and would be changing up the design for their next flagship phone, which is the Galaxy Note 3 that’ll be announced this fall around IFA. Today, @evleaks has posted a few pics of what is supposedly the Galaxy Note 3.

Now looking at the first picture above, you can tell that the home button still exists, and it looks like a Nokia-made Android device. Does anyone else see the Nokia-like aesthetics there? You can tell it’s still Samsung based on the screen. You can see part of Touchwiz there, in fact that’s the Bluetooth screen. Sam Mobile’s tipper today informed them that the Galaxy Note 3 would have a 5.99-inch display, well Samsung will probably say it’s 6-inch like the Galaxy S4 was 4.99-inch but marketed as a 5-inch device.

The Galaxy Note 3 is supposed to be the same size as the Galaxy Mega 5.8 which was announced last week, but have a new design. Now the  question is, is this picture real? Is it a prototype? Will this be Samsung’s new design for Android devices or for their Tizen line of devices? So many questions, and we have none of the answers.

This leaves us wondering, with Nokia doing badly and their tight relationship with the failing Windows Phone, did Samsung buy Nokia’s design team? This phone definitely looks like a Nokia Windows Phone 8 device, am I right? Even if this is made of polycarbonate, it’ll still feel better in the hand and a bit more premium than Samsung’s current design. The only thing I hope changes with this design that’s leaked is the home button. But it looks like there are much thinner bezels on this device than some of Samsung’s other devices we’ve seen as of late.

So what do you think of this new design? Let us know in the comments down below.
