Google has just posted some new Nexus 4 accessories on the Play Store. And before you get to excited, they are nothing all that new. Google has put up a pair of wired headphones that are $19.99, a standard USB cable for $9.99 and the power adapter for $15.99. Of course there’s still tax and shipping to be factored in. The Play Store says it’ll be shipped within 3-5 days, so at least you won’t have to wait as long as you did for the Nexus 4.
The accessories aren’t all that, and Google probably won’t sell a whole lot of them. The headphones are just normal headphones. The headphones are a bit different. It includes flat tangle-free cords, aluminum backing, double rubber ear pieces and a microphone so you can make and receive calls with them. Remember the Nexus 4 did not come with a set of headphones or earbuds. Then the USB cable and power adapter you could pick up off of Amazon much cheaper. And if you’re a real Android enthusiast, you probably have a few extra cable’s and power adapters laying around. I know I have about 5 or 6 of them here myself.
Shipping is $5.99 for these accessories, at least in the US. If you want to check out these new accessories, we have all the links down below. How many of you will be buying one or more of these accessories from Google Play? Are they available in your country? We aren’t sure if these are only for the US or for other Play Stores as well. So if you could leave a comment below to let us know your country and if they are available, it would help us out greatly.
Now, Google, where are the Nexus 10 accessories that Matias Duarte showed off with the Nexus 10 last October?
