Samsung Galaxy S4 on AT&T To Start Shipping on April 23rd

One of the most anticipated devices of 2013, was and is the Galaxy S4. This week it was announced that the device would be launching on 7 carriers along with an additional 7 retailers. Giving those of us in the US, 14 different places to get our Galaxy S4 from. We already know that T-Mobile is launching their Galaxy S4 on April 24th. Then Verizon is rumored to be launching it either May 22nd or May 30th, in typical Verizon fashion. We are now getting word from AT&T’s website that the Galaxy S4 will be shipping on April 23rd, which is Tuesday.

Originally AT&T was going to launch the Galaxy S4 on April 30th, but it looks like now Galaxy S4 buyers will be getting theirs a week early. So far there is no official confirmation on when the Galaxy S4 is actually going to launch, but it appears AT&T is looking to beat T-Mobile to the punch. Could they be suffering from many customers switching for T-Mobile’s “Simple Plans” and UNcarrier ways? Who knows.

The Galaxy S4 will be available on AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular, Cricket, C Spire, Verizon, and T-Mobile between now and the end of May. Well Verizon might be a longer wait, since they basically do whatever they want, when launching new phones. The 16GB Galaxy S4 is going for $199 at AT&T with a 2-year contract. Which isn’t bad, but you can also get the HTC One for $199 and get the 32GB version, which is available as of yesterday, on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.

So how many of you are going to pre-order your Galaxy S4 from AT&T? If not, where are you going to be pre-ordering yours from? Let us know in the comments below.
