Samsung's Galaxy S4 Now Available in AT&T Stores, and Online at Sprint

After facing a relatively short delay, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is now available at your local AT&T store, and online at Sprint.com. Right now only the 16GB Galaxy S4 is available on both carriers, T-Mobile should be releasing theirs online in a couple of days, while Verizon is doing pre-orders now and launching their Galaxy S4 May 30th.

If you’re on Sprint and looking to pick up the Galaxy S4, the 16GB model is available for $249.99. But if you’re looking to switch to Sprint, and port your number over, Sprint will give you the Galaxy S4 for $149.99 That’s cheaper than any other carrier, right now. Of course you are signing a two-year contract with a carrier that doesn’t have the best network.

As far as AT&T goes, customers can pick up the Galaxy S4 for $199 from AT&T. That’s both current customers and those looking to switch to AT&T. The 32GB model is said to be coming soon and will run at $249.99 with a two-year contract. But we have no idea when that will be available.

We should also mention, that between all the bloatware on the device from Samsung and the system files, about 45% of your 16GB internal storage will not be usable. Which is quite unfortunate and almost a page out of Microsoft’s book with the Surface tablet. Buying the 16GB Samsung Galaxy S4 will only give you about 8.82GB of storage, and that’s before all the carrier bloat. You may end up with less, especially if you’re on Verizon. Good thing Samsung has that microSD card slot right?

So the Galaxy S4 is officially available on two carriers right now in the US. We still have 5 more to go. That includes T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, C Spire and Cricket. US Cellular and T-Mobile will be launching their variants this weekend.

How many of you are ordering or have picked up their Galaxy S4 already? What do you think of Samsung’s newest flagship device? Let us know in the comments down below.
