Sprint Announces Availability and Pricing for the HTC One

Finally, after nearly two months of waiting HTC fans will be able to get their hands on the HTC One beginning April 19th. Yesterday, and early this morning we learned that AT&T will have the 32GB version available starting the 19th, with pre-orders starting this week. Sprint has now announced that they will start offering the HTC One on April 19th with pre-orders starting this week as well. Sprint will be selling the 32GB model for $199.99 with a new 2-year contract.

As we already know, T-Mobile and Sprint will only have the 32GB model, while AT&T has exclusivity over the 64GB version here in the US. But Sprint does have unlimited data, no matter how slow their network really is. Which means unlimited LTE when it finally gets rolled out in your neck of the woods. Here’s how Sprint is selling their “truly unlimited” data plans for the HTC One:

HTC One customers can enjoy an unlimited data experience with Sprint Everything Data plans. Sprint’s Everything Data plan with Any Mobile, AnytimeSM includes unlimited Web, texting and calling to and from any mobile in America while on the Sprint Network, starting at just $79.99 per month for smartphones1 – a savings of $20 per month versus Verizon’s comparable plan with unlimited talk, text and 2GB Web.

Sprint does have unlimited data, but their 3G network is pretty bad as far as speeds go. T-Mobile also has unlimited and they have their HSPA+ network to fall back on from their new LTE network. Along with cheaper prices. We should see an official release date for T-Mobile coming soon. But Sprint and AT&T are doing it on the same day. Which is a great thing for HTC. I’d expect T-Mobile’s HTC One to be available before April 26th, but there’s no official dates for magenta yet.
