For all those haters out there saying that the HTC One won’t sell, and those that think T-Mobile was dumb to put up these new UNcarrier rate plans. This article is going to sorta prove you wrong. T-Mobile’s HTC One is now sold out, less than 24 hours after going up for Pre-order. Now we don’t know how many there were set aside for pre-order for T-Mobile, but if all three carriers have the same amount for Pre-order before they sell out, then this is good news for HTC and T-Mobile. I’ve already heard from some of my friends that work in T-Mobile retail that customers are really liking the new rate plans and they’ve been selling phones like crazy. And the HTC One is a great looking device, that has actually had some commercials about it. Compared to HTC devices from the past.
So T-Mobile is sold out, but Sprint and AT&T are still going strong. It’s kinda odd to see the 4th largest carrier sell out before the 3rd and 2nd largest. I’d be interested to see how many devices each carrier was allotted. Hopefully it was the same for all three.
If you were one of those that pre-registered to pre-order you’ll want to check your email for a special discount code to receive either the HTC Double Dip or Flip case for free. These cases are $30 each.
That looks like Good news for both T-Mobile and HTC, but as we said before we have no idea how many devices were pre-ordered. I’d be pretty interested to see how many were pre-ordered today, especially since you can only pre-order from HTC and they can only sell you the classic plans, and not the new rate plans (like the $70 unlimited everything plan). How many of you pre-ordered the HTC One for T-Mobile today?
