Twitter for Project Glass on it's way?

Seems like lately, all we’ve been talking about is the Galaxy S4, HTC One and Project Glass. Well it doesn’t look like that’ll be changing anytime soon as it appears the Twitter is working on an app for Project Glass. On April 28th the Twitter account @MogroothMuddler sent out a tweet “Just shared a photo #throughglass with a link to the photo. Once more, the source of the tweet says “via Twitter for Glass” as shown in the image down below.

What’s interesting here is that the account doesn’t have a profile picture, but rather the famous egg. Droid-Life has pointed out that @Mogrooth belongs to mobile engineering manager Shiv Ramamurthi. So it looks like this might be one of his test accounts? In addition, per Twitter’s guidelines, third-party apps cannot have the word “Twitter” in their labels so the fact that it’s “Twitter for Glass” adds a bit more credit to this story.

The interesting thing here will be if the Twitter for Glass app works better than the Twitter for Android app, although it has admittedly gotten better over the past year or so. In fact it’s my main Twitter app, but mostly because of the strict API limits. It’s going to be interesting to see what features Twitter for Glass gives you. Perhaps it’ll just be an interface to share pictures, videos, and thoughts. Could you imagine scrolling through your timeline on Project Glass? Now that would be pretty cool, at least in my opinion. Hopefully we’ll see Twitter for Glass available shortly. We’ll be sure to let you know once it is available.

How many of you are anxiously awaiting to get your hands on Project Glass? Let us know in the comments down below.
