Xperia S Gets Jelly Bean 4.1.2

We realize that this might not be the most welcome news to those in the US but, Sony’s Xperia S has finally been updated to Android 4.1.2. This could mean that an Xperia ION update is on its way as well.

Samsung Galaxy Music Gets Updated to Jelly Bean

If you can believe that Samsung are still making such budget devices with Android then, you’ll be even more shocked to hear that this is getting updated to Android 4.1. Yepp, we were shocked as well. The update is currently rolling out in the UK and you should be able to get it real soon if you haven’t already.

Verizon’s Galaxy S III Gets Huge Update

The Galaxy S III is still alive and kicking, even on Verizon. Of course, this is to be expected, Samsung do a great job of keeping their older smartphones up-to-date and the Galaxy S III isn’t going to be an exception. This update from Big Red is fairly massive, bringing with it a little more bloat (as always) alongside the multi-window feature, additions to the Gallery and more. You can read the full list of changes and additions here.
