Seems like we’re getting more Android 4.3 rumors after Google I/O than we did before the keynote. We’ve been hearing some pretty persuasive reports that Android 4.3 is coming in a couple of months or less. Especially since API 18 is coming out in about two months, which always means a new version of Android is coming as well.
Now, Android and Me is reporting that the white Nexus 4 is hitting Google Play on June 10th along with Android 4.3. Right now not much is known about Android 4.3, except that we’ll be seeing some Bluetooth Smart integration into that version. I’d also expect a better Bluetooth stack, because the one in Android 4.2 is pretty bad. Lots of problems with it. I’ve also had problems with Bluetooth on my Nexus 4, mostly when connecting to Bluetooth speakers.
We’ve been hearing all kinds of rumors today about Android 4.3. So we are getting an idea that we’ll see it later this summer along with the new Nexus 7 and now maybe this white Nexus 4? Hmm, who knows. Personally, I don’t really like the Nexus 4. It looks rather….odd. Since it’s white with a black bezel. They could have at least made the bezel white as well. Android and Me also has the white Nexus 4 in hand and they have said that it is a carbon copy of the current Nexus 4, which I have on my desk right now. So doesn’t look like we’re getting an LTE or 32GB version. At least not for this generation of Nexus.
The Nexus 4 is still a great device, and with the current version of Android it’s a great deal starting at $299 for an unlocked phone. Now all we need is Android 4.3 and we’ll be all set until fall or even early 2014. What kind of features are you hoping for in Android 4.3? Let us know in the comments down below.
