Just yesterday, we found out that the Moto X phone is real, and the CEO of the company himself spoke about it at D11. So what do we know about the Moto X so far? Well it’s supposedly going to Motorola’s “hero” device and will be made here in the US. Dennis Woodside, the CEO of Motorola, said that the processors will be made in Taiwan and the OLED displays in Korea. Which gave us a little bit of a hint as to what processor and display we’ll be seeing on this device. But it’s still not quite confirmed.
Now we’ve been hearing about the Motorola X Phone for quite a while. In fact, since late last year we’ve been seeing rumors and leaks. We do know it’ll be released before October. I’ve heard many people say they are waiting to see what Motorola does this year before buying their next phone. Especially since Motorola is going to be stock Android, which should mean faster updates. Now we haven’t seen all that many great flagships come out this year. We’ve seen the HTC One, Galaxy S4 and LG Optimus G Pro. So many of us are still waiting on “the phone” to replace our current one.
I’m certainly waiting to see what Motorola has to do with the Moto X. I’m definitely still interested, and being manufactured in the US is also a big plus for a company. So are you waiting for the Moto X before buying your next phone? Let us know in the comments down below.
