LG recently announced that they’ve sold more than 1 million Optimus G Pro units in Korea. You probably already know this, but in case you don’t that’s LG’s home market. Despite the fact that Korea is their home operating market, those are some pretty impressive numbers. Wouldn’t you agree?
The milestone was reached in just four months time, with the daily sales averaging about 8,000 units during that same period. According to LG, this milestone tops a previous record they held, with the Optimus LTE selling 1 million units in just seven months. Of course, that record was also set in their home country Korea.
LG credits their success to the Optimus G Pro which offers quite a few improvements over previous handsets offered by the company. That was to be expected really, what company wouldn’t credit their success to their products?
It would be nice to hear how LG is doing elsewhere, but they have yet to announce anything about sales in other countries throughout the world. Perhaps the Optimus G Pro isn’t selling quite so well elsewhere, including here in the States? Who knows, maybe the numbers are actually higher and LG is waiting to announce everything.
