Possible Retail Pricing for Moto X Leaks Out; Sure Looks Cheap to Us

Ah yes, the infamous Moto X. Now that it’s a very real product – and has been for months – it’s not right to treat the Moto X as a mythical creature anymore, is it? Well, regardless, the Moto X has enough buzz surrounding it – at least on the Internet – to be pretty infamous in our book. We’ve seen it leak out so many times before, and we know we’ve only got until August 1st to find out everything we already knew about the device. One thing that we’ve been hearing a lot about, is the price of the Moto X, that it’s going to be just $299 off contract and well, thanks to yet another leak, it looks like that might just be true.

Over at the Weibo forums, it looks like the pricing for the Moto X has leaked out. If it’s true, then the Moto X is going to cost just $299 for the 16GB model and $349 for the 32GB model, off contract. It’s no wonder that the specs under the hood aren’t anything too amazing if they’re going to be selling at such an excellent price tag. For those of in Europe, those prices should hopefully translate the same into Euros, making it €299 and €349 for the 16 and 32GB models, respectively.

We’ve been hearing time and time again that this is going to an affordable device, and so far all the signs have been pointing to as much. We just hope that Motorola can really break out of the rut of just being a Verizon manufacturer. With rumors that T-Mobile isn’t getting the device at launch, there’s a worry that Motorola will full into their classic rut of struggling to distribute their devices to more than just one carrier. We’ll find out more come August 1st and so far, we’re all pretty excited here at Android Headlines but, what about you guys? Let us know in the comments.
