Yesterday, T-Mobile’s new JUMP! and Simple Choice Family Plans became available on their website. So you can now enroll in the JUMP! program and sign up for the new $100 Family Plan at T-Mobile which they announced last week.
T-Mobile’s JUMP! program allows you to upgrade your phone twice a year for a $10/month fee. Which does include handset insurance, which you already pay $8-12/month depending on your carrier and device. So it’s a pretty great deal. The only downside is that once you join JUMP! (Just Upgrade My Phone) you have to wait 6 months before you can do your first “JUMP” or upgrade. Remember when you do upgrade you’ll have to turn in your existing handset, and you’ll get a brand new phone at new customer pricing.
The new family plans are pretty good as well. You can get 4 lines for $100 a month. That comes with unlimited talk and text and 500MB of 4G data per month. Of course, if you want unlimited data, that’s going to cost a bit more. But where else can you get 4 lines for $100? Most carriers charge around $100 for a single line, so it’s definitely a great deal if you have great T-Mobile coverage in your area.
