The leaks and rumors are continuing to come out about the Galaxy Note 3. We aren’t expecting the phone to be announced until September, so we still have plenty of rumors to see and hear. There is one thing we haven’t seen yet, and that’s a picture of the Note 3. We’ve mostly seen renders of what people think it’ll look like. But today, it appears we have what seems like the Galaxy Note 3 in testing at a Samsung factory.
The source behind the image above asserts that this is the Galaxy Note 3, it’s still very difficult to see how exactly the device looks in the pictures. It could be the Note 3, it could also be any other device on the face of the earth. We all know how many Samsung devices are out there in the wild right now. There’s definitely no strong indications to show that this is the Note 3. We can’t even see the S Pen, which is a staple for the Galaxy Note series of phones or phablets.
These pictures are rather small, and don’t tell us a whole lot about the device the source seems to think is being tested here. So it could be the Note 3, it might not be. These pictures really don’t answer any questions for us. As noted, the most promising part is that the source exists. Maybe next time we’ll see something a bit more concrete about the Galaxy Note 3.
Samsung has been coming down on leaks a lot lately. We haven’t really seen any leaks of the Galaxy S4 that were accurate until the day of the unveil in New York City. So I expect the same for the Galaxy Note 3. I also expect it to look similar to the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S4. Even though I’d be happy to see a brand new design for the Galaxy Note 3, I just don’t think Samsung has the time.
