The Moto X hasn’t been revealed just yet. But we do know it exists and we’ve been getting leaks everyday for the past couple of weeks about the phone. The picture above was sent to PhoneArena, and it appears to look like the leaked pictures we saw a few months ago. At least from the back of the device. There we can see a 3.5mm headphone jack up top, along with the camera lens and flash, a speaker next to the camera and a recessed Motorola logo just below it. it’s also all black, almost looks like a matte plastic backing there.
Recently, we’ve seen US variants of the Moto X hitting the FCC, except for T-Mobile’s. We also heard just yesterday that Motorola is planning a huge marketing blitz for the Moto X. WSJ reported that they’ll be spending around $500 million marketing this device. That tells you just how important this phone is o Motorola. With the leaks coming out these days for the Moto X, we’re expecting an announcement any day now. Especially if they want to get it out before the LG Optimus G2 and the Galaxy Note 3 from Samsung hit store shelves this fall.
The Moto X may not be that super, mega, high-end device we’ve all been waiting for, but it’s still going to be worth the wait. The Moto X is said to be competitive with their competitors pricing. I’m hoping that means very low off-contract pricing, perhaps in the same price range as the Nexus 4. Especially with the specs we’ve seen rumored. Rumors are telling us the Moto X will have a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM and a 720p 4.3-inch display along with that 10MP ClearPixel on the back.
