There are slight differences between the two with the One touch Idol S being slightly larger and thinner (7.4mm vs 7.9mm) and with a true HD display. The Idol S is also sporting more RAM, as well as having a slightly better rear facing and front facing camera. Also the Idol S has DLNA 2.0 capabilities, something that doesn’t appear to be available on the Idol S Mini. The Idols S Mini, however, does have a slightly higher processor clock speed, but loses the expandable storage on the dual SIM model. The Idol S and the Idol Mini come in 3 colors, Slate, Fresh Rose, and Cherry Red. Both appear to be pretty decent entry-level smart phones, more than capable with keep up with the average smart phone user. Unfortunately there is no word yet as to price, the ability of a removable battery, nor the exact size of the battery.
