Lenovo has a couple of announcements for us today. The first one is the Lenovo Vibe X. Which appears to be Lenovo’s attempt at creating their own brand for the mobile phones. We’ve already heard that they are planning to make a big push into other areas of the world, and this could be the start. The Lenovo Vibe X is a very nice and sleek looking phone from Lenovo and packs some nice specs, some specs that we won’t see on any other device out there. Speaking of specs, lets take a look at those juicy specs we love so much:
- 5-inch 1920×1080 resolution Full HD IPS Display that’s 440 pixels per inch, with Gorilla Glass 3
- 6.9mm thin or thick
- 13MP auto-focus, rear facing camera with LED flash and a back-illuminated sensor
- 5MP front-facing camera with a wide-angle 84-degree lens
- Quad-core MediaTek MTK 6589T processor clocked at 1.5GHz
- Android 4.2 – Jelly BEan
- 2GB of RAM
- 16GB of internal storage
The Lenovo Vibe X is a nice looking smartphone from Lenovo. The only downside is that it won’t be available everywhere. Lenovo has told us that the Vibe X will be available in China starting in October and other markets where Lenovo phones are sold in December. Additionally, the Vibe X will not be available in Europe, unfortunately. The Vibe X also comes preloaded with a few custom apps that will allow its users to conveniently share photos, videos, and documents. As well as protect their device from malicious software, and back up/restore important data. On the Vibe X users can also launch the preloaded Facebook app which has enhanced screensaver and notification features.
Lenovo is also telling us that in addition to the Vibe X, the K900 is going to be available immediately in China and will become available later this year in other countries (Q4 2013). The K900 is going to be available in black and orange with 16GB and 32GB configurations. The K900 was announced back at CES, which we covered back in January.
