Verizon Wireless May Be Getting Its Own Exclusive Blue HTC One

Hey Verizon users, are you jealous that Sprint customers are having all of the fun with their exclusive red HTC One? Well, you may soon have your own exclusive color of the HTC One… Blue.

According to leaked photographs, the Blue version of the HTC One will be launching on Verizon Wireless soon and unsurprisingly have the same exact specifications as the silver and black variants of the HTC One. The price tag will also be the same $199.99 on contract.

Verizon is a bit late to the party with their HTC One launch as the aging phone is nearing its 6 month anniversary but needless to say, it is still an amazing phone with impressive specifications to match. For those of you who need a reminder, the HTC One has;

  • 4.7 Inch 1080p Full HD Screen
  • Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor at 1.7 GHZ
  • 2 GB of DDR2 RAM
  • 32 GB of Storage
  • GPS with GLONASS
  • NFC radio
  • WiFi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n
  • Bluetooth
  • DLNA
  • BoomSound Stereo Speakers
  • MicroSIM
  • Infrared Shooter
  • 4G LTE (800/1900MHZ, UMTS/HSPA 1900/2100MHz, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz)

The Blue HTC one will feature the same scratch resistant aluminum build quality that other HTC One users enjoy along with the same UltraPixel camera that some HTC users love (or hate). There is no expandable storage options on this phone as well so you are limited to what’s onboard.

The phone will be launching with Android 4.1 JellyBean but is expected to see an upgrade to 4.2 in the future. HTC BlinkFeed is in tact as you would expect it. We also expect to see Verizon install their usual amount of Bloatware on the phone. As this is a Verizon phone, It is safe to assume that the Bootloader will be locked with no easy way to unlock it.

I must admit, I personally do like this blue color. So, how many Verizon users are planning on adding this to their collection?
