This week, the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear actually launched in many countries earlier this week. But both devices will be launching in the US next week, and hopefully we’ll have one in our hands to start doing plenty of coverage on the device. We’ll have plenty of coverage on the Galaxy Note 3, similar to the amount of coverage we had for the Galaxy S4 earlier this year. So having said that, how many of you are planning on picking up one or both. Although if you pick up the Galaxy Gear, you’re not going to be able to do much with it without the Galaxy Note 3 or the Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition.
The Galaxy Note 3 is coming to AT&T, Sprint, Verizon T-Mobile and US Cellular next week. And as many of you know it’s packing a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM and starts out with 32GB of internal storage. So we get to say goodbye to the 16GB models. Which is great since the Galaxy S4 only had about 9GB of available space on the 16GB version. The Galaxy Note 3 is going for $299 on most carriers with a 2-year contract. Of course, T-Mobile has it for $199 with a monthly payment. Which kind of means they have the best deal, as long as their coverage is great for you.
I’m not completely sure if I’ll be upgrading to the Galaxy Note 3. I think I’ll hold out for the Nexus 5 and then see which device I want more. The Galaxy Note 3 is going to be a great device, and the Galaxy Gear is going to be interesting. I think I’m more excited to get my hands on the Galaxy Gear instead of the Galaxy Note 3. Mostly, because we already basically know what to expect with the Galaxy Note 3, but the Galaxy Gear is a totally new product.
How many of you are picking the Galaxy Note 3 and/or the Galaxy Gear next week?
