Sony Xperia Z1 Comes to Bell, TELUS and Rogers
This week, the Xperia Z1 not only came to the US unlocked, but also headed up North to Canada unlocked as well as available on Bell, TELUS and Rogers. Its available for around $199 on contract and $725 outright. Not too bad of a price for a great device with a 20.7MP camera on the back.
Pizza Pizza Launches their own Android App
A popular Pizza chain in Canada, Pizza Pizza, has finally launched their own Android app. It’s available through the Play Store now and and promises app-only specials, which could be pretty cool. Just looking at the screenshots is making me hungry.
The Huge Sony Xperia Z Ultra Comes to Bell and the Sony Store
In addition to the Xperia Z1, the Xperia Z Ultra has just launched on Bell and is also available unlocked through the Sony Store. The Z Ultra is going for $249 on a 2-year contract and $800 outright. Just a bit more expensive than the Xperia Z1, but that’s expected since it’s much larger.
Rogers Launching new $45 and $55 Monthly ‘Smart Picks’ Plans

LG G2 Now Available at WIND and Videotron
One of my most favorite Android devices this year, the LG G2, is now available at WIND and Videotron in Canada. They are going for $150 on a 2-year contract, or $600 outright.
Canadian Galaxy Note 3 Getting Stability Update
This week, the Canadian Galaxy Note 3 is getting a small stability update. This one is about 21MB in size, so it’s a rather small one. If you have the Galaxy Note 3, make sure you grab this update as it’s important.
Amazon’s Kindle Fire HDX tablets going on Sale in Canada in November
On Friday, the Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch went on sale in the US. It’ll be making its way to Canada in late November, for those that are interested in a blazing fast tablet with a forked version of Android.
