Google seems to be really on the ball this year with accessories for Google Play devices. Earlier today, we told you that they had a few different cases for the Nexus 5, which also launched today. Now we’re seeing that there are a couple new colors for the sleeves for the Nexus 7 and the HP Chromebook 11.
The Nexus 7 (2013) is getting a yellow sleeve which will be on sale for $30 when it finally goes on sale. Right now it’s just set to “coming soon”. It’s actually a pretty well made sleeve for the price though. There’s also a gray version that’s now, somewhat, available for the same price. It’s also listed as coming soon.
Additionally, the HP Chromebook 11 got another sleeve today. It’s getting a red and white one. It’s up on the Play Store now, if you want to go and take a look at the sleeve. It’s a pretty nice looking one and it’s going to set you back about $50. But similar to the other sleeves on the Play Store, this one is also a pretty good quality sleeve for your HP Chromebook 11. Just like the Nexus 7’s sleeve it’s also coming soon. So we’ll have to wait and see when that finally becomes available. Hopefully it’s rather soon.
It’s nice to see Google getting more accessories into the Play Store sooner. We used to have to wait about 6 months or so for any official accessories. Although none of their accessories are cheap. But you can be rest assured that there are plenty on Amazon that are available to be shipped out right now. I’m sure Spigen and Poetic have a few that look pretty nice.
