Earlier this morning, HTC took the wraps off of it’s HTC One Max. Finally. It’s been rumored for months, in fact I think it’s been rumored since the HTC One was announced in February. The HTC One Max is basically just a 5.9-inch version of the HTC One. There’s not really any new features besides the fingerprint reader on this device. Which makes it not that much of a compelling competitor to the Galaxy Note 3 which worries me. Many of you know that I love HTC and their devices. I really don’t want to see them go down the same road as Blackberry, at least not right now. That would mean one less competitor for Samsung and one less choice for consumers and one less reason for Samsung to be innovative with their new products.

So far the HTC One Max is confirmed to be heading to Sprint and Verizon. There has been a rumor floating around that it might be heading to AT&T as well, but so far that is unconfirmed so take that with a grain of salt. The One Max is launching in the UK this week and Europe later this month. So far no release date for the US. But we’ll keep you updated as always.
