LeBron Helps Samsung Hype their Latest Flagships, the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear with New Commercial

Earlier this week, Samsung and the NBA had ironed out a new 3-year $100 million deal which will result in courtside tablets, TV’s and an ongoing brand awareness. Not that Samsung needs more help with brand awareness or anything. Just last night, there was the first NBA game of the year and if you actually watched it, then you probably saw a ton of Samsung product placements and advertisements. One of the examples is the Samsung ad we’ve embedded down below for your enjoyment. That one aired during the first quarter, Samsung turned to LeBron James again to show off the latest flagship from Samsung, the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear. Not to mention the cameo by the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition.

All three products are great, but they aren’t for everyone. Which Samsung understands that which is why there’s the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch phones and tablets out there as well. Since the Galaxy Note 3, 10.1 2014 Edition and the Galaxy Gear launched this month, it only makes sense for those to be the ones they are advertising heavily. I’ve actually reviewed the Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 10.1 – 2014 Edition recently and the Galaxy Note 3 was reviewed by our Nick. We loved all three devices and would definitely recommend them to others.

This morning, Samsung announced that they had sold 5 million Galaxy Note 3’s already in less than a month. The Galaxy Note 3 was announced in early September and launched in most of the world in October. And it’s still October and they sold 5 million units, that’s not bad at all, in my opinion. Are you one of the 5 million Galaxy Note 3 owners?

Will the ads and product placement during NBA games sway you into buying one of Samsung’s devices? Or are all the other marketing Samsung is doing enough to get you to pick one up? Let us know in the comments below.
