Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition Now Available!

Today’s the day. The day that the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition launches in the US. This is one tablet I’ve looked forward to more than the Nexus 7. Why? Simply because of the specs and the S Pen features. When Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 3 series with pretty mediocre specs, I was a little bit worried about the Galaxy Note 10.1. But when JK Shin and crew hit the stage in Berlin last month to announce the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition and announced the specs on this thing, I was amazed.

Now I’ve been a huge fan of the Nexus 10, even though I never bought it. The display on that tablet is pretty amazing. A 2560×1600 resolution display is really nice, especially for media consumption. Mix that with all the S Pen features we’ve got in the Galaxy Note 3, and you’ve got yourself a great tablet. As far as specs go, here’s what we are looking at:

  • 10.1-inch Super Clear LCD display at 2560×1600 resolution
  • 16/32/64GB internal storage choices
  • 3GB of RAM
  • MicroSD card slot supporting up to 64GB
  • 8MP rear-facing camera
  • 2MP front-facing camera
  • Exynos 5 Octa (quad-core 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 and quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A7)
  • LTE Model is sporting a Snapdragon 800 quad-core at 2.3GHz
  • 8220mAh battery
  • Android 4.3

As you can see the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition is a beast. Similar to the Galaxy Note 3. It’s on sale now for $549.99and it’s available in both the 16GB and 32GB variants right now. It’s available from Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile, Amazon, PC Richard’s, Fry’s, Tiger Direct, Walmart and Samsung.com. We don’t yet have the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition in for review, but we should be getting one soon. So if you’re waiting on our thoughts on the device before pulling the trigger you may want to wait a bit longer.

How many of you are going to pick up the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition?
