1Password is a multi-platform password manager that its users swear by. AgileBits, the company that makes 1Password, has been working on a new Android version for awhile but they have kept it pretty quiet. AgileBits said that 1Password 4 would bring with it a new Android version. An update to the Android version has been much needed. 1Password for Android hasn’t been updated since January of 2012. Rumors of a new version of the app leaked out back in July via the below screenshot, but we haven’t heard much about it since then. Until today.
AgileBits announced today on their official blog that the new 1Password 4 for Android version is being worked on. It will be a big change from the current Android app that you can get on the Play Store now. We don’t know very much of anything about it at this point. All that AgileBits is saying is that they are working on an update. Here’s a note from the official site:
Danger! Risk! Excitement! Are you looking to provide feedback on new features and functions while living a little on the daring side? Be among the first to use the latest and greatest unreleased updates for 1Password 4 for Android.

It also acts a form filler and secure wallet for things like credit cards, bank accounts, membership ID cards, and web services. 1Password aims to simplify your life and keep you from ever forgetting your passwords again. You only have to set it up once and then it keeps track of all this information for you.
