The Nexus 5 isn’t the first device to have wireless charging, but it is the most recent one. Which is why there’s so much talk around it. The Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2013), Motorola DROID Maxx, HTC DROID DNA and a few Windows phones also have wireless charging. We’ve already reviewed a couple on the site in the past few months. So we thought we’d do a nice top 10 for you.
10. Duracell Powermat
Duracell has a nice flat powermat for your Nexus 5. And since it’s a pretty big one, you should be able to charge your Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 together. Duracell also has bigger mats for 2 devices and 3 devices if needed. Currently they are out of stock on Amazon, but they start at about $30. Which isn’t a bad price for a wireless charger.

9. Powermat 2X with Powercube
Powermat has been pretty popular for their wireless chargers. They even sell cases for your phones that can turn them into wireless charging capable devices. This is one is pretty wide so you could probably fit both the Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 on there at the same time as well. The Powermat 2X starts at $36.

8. QI Standard Wireless Charger from MCPOWER
This is just a plain and simple wireless charger for the Nexus 5. It also works on the Nexus 7 and Nexus 4 since it is Qi compatible. So it’ll work with any device that is qi compatible. It’s one of the cheaper ones, starting at $26 and is available for Amazon Prime shipping.

7. Panasonic QE-TM101-K Qi Wireless Charger
This one is also just a simple wireless charger. It’s a typical square and comes in black or white. So you can get one to match your Nexus 5. It’s available now for about $47. Which is still not a bad price for a wireless charger, I’ve seen these hit $100 or more.

6. CHOE Qi Wireless Charger, Charging Pad
Here’s another nice one. This one actually looks really nice, in my opinion. It’s got a black matte finish, and is pretty large, so it should be able to charge your Nexus 7 as well. Just like the others, this one will work with any Qi compatible device.
5. Koolpad Qi Wireless Charging Pad
The Koolpad Qi Wireless Charging pad will also work with the Nexus 5 and every other device with wireless charging as long as it uses the Qi standard. This one is pretty small, so your Nexus 7 may not fit on there. But it is pretty cheap too. Starting at $35 with free shipping.
4. Anker Qi-Enabled Wireless Charger
Anker has upgraded their wireless charger, and surprisingly there’s no AC adapter included but the micro USB cable is included. Kinda strange. But you can use the cord from your Nexus 5 if worse comes to worse. This one’s going to cost you a little over $40.
3. LG WCP-300 Wireless Charging Pad
LG has their own wireless charging pad. Who would have thought about that? This one is just a simple circular wireless charging pad which is Qi compatible like every other device on this list. It’ll cost you about $45 as well.

2. TYLT Vu Wireless Charger
This is actually my favorite wireless charger here. I reviewed it earlier this year and have been using it all year for my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. Of course now I use it for my Nexus 7. Sure it’s kinda pricey, but I like that it’s not just a flat charging pad. Meaning I can watch something on YouTube while it’s charging on the wireless charger.

1. Nexus Wireless Charging Orb
What Wireless Chargers for your Nexus 5 list would be complete with out the Nexus Wireless Charging Orb? I still think this is what happened to all the left over Nexus Q’s. This is the wireless charging orb Google was selling on the Play Store for a while. It’s about $66, but man is it cool looking.
