So we’ve got the HTC One Max in house and have been using it for about a week or so now. We’re working on our full review, so be patient with us guys. But we thought we’d do a little size test compared to other flagships I have in the house right now. We did the same thing for the Galaxy Note 3 back in October, so we thought we’d do the same for the HTC One Max. We compared it to the Galaxy Note 3, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7. The HTC One Max is almost the same size as the Nexus 7 which is pretty insane. But then again it is a 5.9-inch display along with capacitive buttons below with the front facing Boomsound Speakers, so it’s probably slightly bigger than the Galaxy Mega 6.3, which I wish I had so I could compare it.
Just about every device in the video fits inside the HTC One Max, which probably shouldn’t be surprising. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a 5.7-inch device while the HTC One Max is a 5.9-inch device. Along with the Nexus 5 at 4.9 and the Nexus 4 at 4.7. While the Nexus 7 is a 7-inch tablet and it’s almost the same size. Talk about crazy.
Check out the video below, while you wait for our full review to hit, probably this weekend. Remember the HTC One Max is available on Sprint for $249 on contract and at Verizon for $299 on contract. That’s right in line with the Galaxy Note 3, which I’m not sure if it should be or not. At least this will tide all of you over until we finish up our review and decide if people that want a phablet should buy the HTC One Max or grab something else like the Galaxy Note 3. Be sure to let us know what you think in the comments below.
