The HTC One Max was released on Sprint last Friday, in fact we have the Sprint HTC One Max in the house in the review phase. Sprint is selling it for $249 on a new contract, while Verizon hasn’t yet announced the pricing for their variant of the HTC One Max. But according to the latest leak coming out today, it looks like Verizon is going to charge $299 for the One Max on contract. And it’ll be available on Verizon Edge for $0 down and $25 per month. Compared to other devices that’s this size, it’s spot on for Verizon. Verizon is selling the Galaxy Note 3 for $299 as well. But the One Max really doesn’t have the same specs as the Galaxy Note 3, but it is a huge device.
It’s a bit odd to see that the HTC One Max would cost more at Verizon than Sprint, considering the device is exactly the same. But then, that probably shouldn’t surprise us since Verizon always likes to raise their prices. But as far as a release date for the Verizon One Max, we still have no idea when it’s coming. Rumors had pinned it at November 15th. Well obviously they were wrong since it is now November 19th and it’s still not available. Hopefully we’ll learn of a release date rather soon. I’d love to see the One Max hit shelves in time for a great Black Friday deal.
We’re still working on our review of the HTC One Max, which should be out this weekend, but I’m not promising it. So far, I’ve been very impressed with the device, even if it does have a crazy large display. Oh and don’t get me started on Boomsound. How many of you are debating on picking up the HTC One Max from Verizon soon?
