Google Shopping Express Now Shipping the Chromecast, Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10 Same Day!

For those that don’t know what Google Shopping Express is, it’s a service provided by Google that offers same day delivery of products you purchase. Of course, right now that’s only available in San Francisco, which is kind of expected. Now the rest of us in the US know what our international friends feel whenever Google announces new stuff that’s US only, like the Google Play Edition devices.

For those lucky enough to live in San Francisco, Google is now going to be delivering some of their products from the Play Store. Right now the selection is still pretty slim pickings. As we’ve only got the Chromecast, Nexus 7 (2013), and the Nexus 10. The shipping appears to be free as well, and if you’ve never used Google Shopping Express before, you get a $10 credit. Which makes getting a Chromecast even nicer. As it would come to about $28.33 after taxes and shipping. Not bad at all, right? You also get a free trial for Google Shopping Express if your brand new.

It’s also worth noting that they are only offering the Nexus 7 (2013) 16GB version and the Nexus 10 32GB version. You are unable to opt for the 32GB version or the LTE version of the Nexus 7 (2013), nor the 16GB version of the Nexus 10. Which is unfortunate, but I’m assuming that those are the only models that they have in stock in San Francisco. Of course, it could be a completely different reason. But that sounds the most likely, in my opinion.

Google Shopping Express also says that orders placed by 5PM PST on December 24th, will be delivered in time for Christmas. So it’s a good choice to pick up a last minute gift for those tech geeks out there. It’s just too bad that this is only available in San Francisco. I’d love to see Google expand this to other areas in the US. How about the rest of you?
