Grab ZTE's Two Newest Premium Smartphones Starting Tomorrow At 10AM

ZTE is releasing two new smartphones tomorrow, called the Nubia Z5S, and the nubia Z5S mini, and they will be available for purchase tomorrow, December 27th as well. 2.5 million people have already pre-ordered the devices. The downside here if you’re a fan of ZTE products is that these two devices will only be available for purchase in China for the time being. There is no word just yet on when or if we should expect these phones to go on sale globally, but its most likely that we will see these available internationally at some point, since ZTE makes plenty of products that are available worldwide. If you live in China, and just happen to be one of our readers, you can be set to grab yourself either the Nubia Z5S or Nubia Z5S mini starting at 10 am local time tomorrow, and the price for either the regular Z5S or the mini version are as follows. You can pick up the Nubia Z5S for $330 or 1999 CNY, and the Nubia Z5S mini can be had for $246, which is equal to 1499 CNY. Both devices at their respective prices are for the 16GB models, although there is no mention of anything available with a larger internal storage capacity.

Both devices offer up some pretty decent specs. The Nubia Z5S for instance, is sporting a 5 inch Sharp IGZO screen with pixels at 1080 x 1920. It will come preloaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and with any luck, there may be a future with kit kat. On the back of the phone, the Nubia Z5S has a 13MP OIS(Optical Image Stabilization)camera for photos and 4k video, while on the front its got a 5MP camera for video chat and selfies. Its also got 2GB of RAM, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to play games on this device. To power all this, the Nubia Z5S has a 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor, and a 2,300 mAH battery. If the smaller phones are more your style, the Nubia Z5S mini comes with a 4.7 inch display, with pixels at 720 x 1280. Just like the regular Nubia Z5S, it will come pre-loaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. In the camera department, there is actually and surprisingly no change, so you’ll get the same 13MP OIS camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front. As for the processor, instead of the quad-core beast, the Nubia Z5S mini is powered by a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor. It also has the same amount of RAM at 2GB, and comes with a slightly smaller, 2,000mAH battery as opposed to the 2,300mAH on the Nubia Z5S.

For the price of both of these phones, the spec sheet boasts some impressive features, and that makes the Nubia Z5S and Z5S mini a really good deal. If you’re local to the area these are going to be released in, we’d say both the Nubia Z5S and Z5S mini are excellent choices for your next phone. You can see them at the JD website.
