The rumor mill never stops churning, and one of the few people behind it is @evleaks. On December 8th 2013, @evleaks took to Twitter to share what he knew about what could be the next Nexus tablet.
The LG-V510, is what has now been thrown into the mill, again. If what @evleaks says is true, and many times what he tweets out does turn out to be true, this device is due to be the next Nexus tablet. Unfortunately tweets have a limited amount of characters, so a complete specs list was absent.
What we can take away from this, is that LG could be behind the next Nexus tablet. Though there is more to be said if we choose to believe in all rumors. Earlier this month, we reported a device by the same model number by LG that was thought to be a new Nexus 10, then it was thought to be the Nexus 8. So this tweet just further verifies that this tablet is on its way.
Based on the previous information about the Nexus 10 then the Nexus 8, this new Nexus will be sporting an 8.3 inch screen. The resolution on that device is believed to be 1920 x 1200, and have 2GB of ram with 16GB of storage. Yes, these specs are extremely similar to the previous LG tablet, the LG G Pad 8.3, but that’s alright, because these are just rumors being thrown around.
@evleaks may be coming to the party a little late though, since this device has been seen back in October thanks to some documents from Bluetooth Special Interests Group or Bluetooth SIG. According to those documents, the device was registered under the same model number, and was submitted on October 24th 2013.
That just about wraps up the rumor mill on the next LG Nexus tablet, at least for now. As we mentioned before, 2014 may be the year of the 8-inch tablet. With that said, are you interested in an LG 8-inch Nexus tablet? What do you hope to see come from the device as far as specs and features?
