The rumor mill had been buzzing for quite some time, that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would be getting two new facials. We have previously covered these same rumors, and apparently Samsung was in a hurry to release the new color options as well.
Fashionistas as well as people willing to differentiate themselves from the crowd, will be happy to know that Samsung’s latest announcement reveals that the Galaxy Note 3 will be released in two new colors – Rose Gold and Merlot Red. In all, there are three variations available for the choosing – Rose Gold accents on the white model, as well as Rose Gold accents on Black and the Merlot Red.
These new editions of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, basically add a rose-gold highlight to their already existing Jet Black and Classic White mobile devices. This brings up the total color options to six, which includes the pre-existing Jet Black, Classic White and Bluish Pink models. The Samsung Galaxy Gear is also available in Rose Gold highlights, which beautifully complements these new color options of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
With the exception of color, all other features of the Galaxy Note 3 remain unchanged. The device sports a 5.7 inch full HD display with a 1080×1920 pixel resolution, 16/32/64 GB internal storage, a very ample 3 GB RAM, standard quad-band 2G, 3G and HSDPA connectivity along with penta-band LTE. Also available onboard is a 13 mega pixels (MP) primary snapper and a 2 MP front-facing secondary video call camera. The best feature of the Galaxy Note 3 is the S-Pen stylus, which beautifully extends the functionality of the Galaxy Note 3 through Air command popup – which includes support for handwriting recognition and provides easy access to Samsung’s flagship note-taking app – the S Note. The device runs on the amazingly fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, while the other variant runs on Samsung’s Exynos Oct-core processor.
The new shades will be launched in China sometime later this month. It is not yet clear whether these colors would be freely available or whether they would be tied to particular carriers or vendors.
