T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere has been nothing if not an outside the box thinker over the past year or so, leading the way with new and un-thought of ideas like T-Mobile’s Un-Carrier strategy, which shook up the way carriers in the USA do wireless. It seems as though John Legere is at it again, because just this morning he posted a tweet on his personal Twitter page that hints at something new for the company. Something exciting and fresh in the weeks to come is what it sounds like, but we’ll just have to wait until after the new year before we get any more sort of news on that we suppose. Take a peek at John’s tweet below to see what I mean.
#ItsAboutCustomers -Time to eliminate another customer pain point? Time for #Uncarrier4? Yes it’s time! Stay tuned…Happy New Year #Randall

What could John possibly be talking about with Uncarrier 4.0? And the blurb about Happy New Year makes us think that whatever T-Mobile’s plans are, they will happen sometime after we enter 2014. We already saw the wireless world turned on it’s head with Un-carrier 1.0, and if the original Un-carrier plan is any indication of John Legere’s willingness to make amazing things happen, we have strong feelings that whatever Un-carrier 4.0 means for T-Mobile customers and wireless as a whole, it will be something that will shake up the competition as John Leger has no reserves about stirring the pot when it comes to his competitors. See this tweet from John just hours before he posted about the Uncarrier 4.0 about At&t’s CEO Randall Stephenson.
Think #Randall ever saw a #customer?:”We are in an environment where we are running to drive utilisation of data services,” said AT&T chief.

That’s what we love about John. He’s not afraid to speak his mind, and frankly it’s that attitude that has helped pull T-Mobile out of the fire. Speaking of Randall, what could John be talking about with the mention of him at the end of his latest tweet in hashtag form? Is it possible that we could see some form of alliance between the two companies after the new year when this new Un-Carrier 4.0 happens? As many of you may know the acquisition of the two companies(T-Mobile and At&t) fell through and what followed was a series of blames and back and forth finger pointing as to why or who could have been the reason for the acquisition failure. T-Mobile and At&t haven’t exactly had the strongest relationship since then, so it’ll be interesting to see if anything comes of this new strategy that John & T-Mobile have up their sleeves. Are there any T-Mobile subscribers out there currently that are looking forward to this? Maybe an employee that wants to comment or give any more hints? Hit us up in the comments on our G+ page.
