On Tuesday, BLU announced several new phones which expands their BLU Life series. There’s the Life One X which is a 5-inch 1080p device, that brings us a 441PPI. For those interested, the display is made by Sharp. It’s also got 2GB of RAM, along with dual-SIM compatibility. There’s a 13MP camera on the back with a 5MP camera on the front. There’s 16GB or 32GB of internal storage options And it supports 3G/HSPA+ on the 850/1900/2100 bands or on the 850/1700/1900 bands. It’ll be starting out at $279 for the 16GB and $299 for the 32GB.
Next up is the LIfe One M. The M starts at $199 unlocked and has a 5-inch 720p IPS display. There’s also a 12MP camera around back with 1GB of RAM, and is available in dual-SIM. There’s also a microSD card slot for those that want more storage. It supports 3G 850/1900/2100 and 850/1700/1900 variants. It’ll be shipping before the end of January.
Now here comes a tablet, BLU’s first tablet is the Life View Tab. It’s a 8-inch 1024×768 resolution display, with a MediaTek MT8389M quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.2GHz. There’s also a 5MP camera on the back and front. There’s 16GB of internal storage, there is a microSD card slot along with 1GB of RAM. It’s packing a 4500mAh battery inside. The Life View Tab will retail for $199.
Then there’s the Life Play X, which is a 4.7-inch 720p device with a MediaTek 6589T quad-core 1.5GHz processor. It’s running Android 4.2 – Jelly Bean, and has a 8MP camera on the back with a 2MP front-facing shooter. There’s 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot and 1GB of RAM. It’s also featuring a 1800mAh battery inside. The Life Play X will be available for $219 beginning now.
Finally we have the Life Play S. This one is also a 4.7-inch 1280×720 resolution display, powered by the MediaTek MT6582 quad-core 1.3GHz processor. Along with a 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP shooter on the front. There’s 4GB of internal storage which includes a microSD card slot and 1GB of RAM. Capping it all off with a 1800mAh battery. The Life Play S will be available this month for $199 unlocked.
Some great budget phones here from BLU. They definitely aren’t competitors to the Sony Xperia Z1S, or the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. But definitely good for the asking price.
