We know that Samsung is getting ready to flood the market with tablets in 2014. And they are starting that at CES later on today. Samsung’s press conference takes place later today at 2pm PST (that’s 5pm EST and 10pm GMT). But We already have press shots and specs for the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, and the 8.4-inch models. You’ll actually notice a few new things on these press shots. It appears that Samsung has finally gotten rid of the menu button and added a recents button. As well as Touchwiz seems to have gotten a bit of a facelift, which was really needed, in my opinion.
First up is the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz for the LTE variants. The WiFi variants has the Exynos 5 Octa processor. There’s also the Super Clear LCD 2560×1600 resolution display, 8MP camera on the back, 2MP on the front, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 – KitKat, a 9500mAh battery and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage options.
Next is the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. These specs are exactly the same as the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. Which has a Snapdragon 800 for the LTE variants and the Exynos 5 Octa for the WiFi variants. Along with a 12.2-inch 2560×1600 resolution display, 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP shooter on the front. It’s also sporting 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 – KitKat, 9500mAh battery, along with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
Then there’s the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. This one also has either a Snapdragon 800 or Exynos 5 Octa depending on the variant. Along with a 10.1-inch 2560×1600 resolution display. 8MP camera on the back, 2MP camera on the front, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4 – KitKat, 8220mAh battery and 16GB or 32GB storage options.
Finally we have the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. Which has the Snapdragon 800 processor, along with a 2560×1600 resolution display, 8MP camera on the back and a 2MP camera on the front, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4 – KitKat, a 4800mAh battery and choice of either 16GB or 32GB of storage.
These specs sound really good, and probably are spot on, especially considering how often Evleaks is right. However, we’ll have to wait for Samsung’s press conference later on today to see exactly what Samsung has in store for us.
