Up until now we’ve only heard rumors about the Galaxy Note 3 Neo , but it seem that Samsung Poland has officially made the announcements for both of the device, making things officially official. The Galaxy Note 3 Neo will come in two different models, only separated by their network connectivity and processor type. The Note 3 Neo will release with a 3G version of the device, and also with an LTE version for those that are using services with faster network speeds. If you were waiting to hear about either of these devices getting the official announcement, here it is, now the next step would be to patiently wait until they launch if you’re wanting to pick one up.
When can you expect to grab one of these new phablets? Well according to the press release, the device goes live for purchase on a global scale starting next month. Tomorrow is January 31st, so there isn’t a whole lot of time before we roll into February. There’s no mention of exactly when next month we can expect to pick one of these up, just that the worldwide release will be in February. As far as specs go, just as a recap the Note 3 Neo will be a downgrade from the previous phablet that Samsung released, The Original Galaxy Note 3, and will come a 5.5 inch display running Jelly Bean 4.3. The specs are mostly the same on both versions of the Note 3 Neo, save for one other thing besides the network connectivity which is the processor. The 3G model of the device will be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, while the LTE+ model will be coming with a hexa-core processor, containing two A15 clocked at 1.7 GHz, with the other four cores being of the A7 series and clocking in at 1.3GHz.
Other than those particular specs, both devices have Wifi support for 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, with the Spen stylus of course, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front cameras. Storage space starts out at 16GB, with the option to expand via the microSD slot if you need more room. As far as RAM goes, 2GB is all you get with this badboy. Which honestly isn’t bad at all. Even though these are going to be a slight downgrade from the original Note 3, since they are lighter on specs and hardware parts they should end up less expensive, at least that’s the hope. If these two models are considerably more affordable than the Original Note 3 would you consider buying one for your next device?
