The HTC One was originally launched in just black and silver/white. While the Silver/white version was available everywhere and the Stealth black only available at a few carriers like Sprint and AT&T. After that they launched the Blue HTC One which was exclusive to Best Buy, which means no Blue HTC One for T-Mobile. Then there was the red HTC One, which looks really nice. According to Shen Ye, of XDA, it appears that the HTC M8 is coming in four colors which he states in hex codes #bebebe, #33b5e5, #cc0000, and #414141. Which is the same colors as the current HTC One.
It’s also interesting that he is referring to it as the HTC One Two. Even though, we’ve heard it called many different names. Like the HTC One+, HTC One (2014), and the HTC Two, aside from the HTC One Two. So we still don’t know the name of the newest HTC flagship, but we should see it coming in the next month or so from HTC. Hopefully they won’t name it the HTC One Two though.
It’s great to see HTC launching it in four colors at launch though. I’d probably prefer the black or red version as I really liked those versions of the HTC One. The Stealth Black HTC One looks really nice, especially compared to the glacial silver one. It’s about time an OEM released a device with all the colors at the same time instead of releasing more colors later on in the product cycle, which is what Samsung does quite often.
The HTC M8 is slated to come with a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display, along with your front-facing speakers (which we love), a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, and likely a larger battery. We’re also looking at a better UltraPixel camera on the back. Hopefully we’ll get at least a 8MP UltraPixel camera this time around.
