On Thursday, Powerocks announced a new external battery pack which will be on display at CES next week. This is the Powerocks Smart Power 5200mAh. It’s a colorful, portable, and light-weight power bank that charges smartphones, tablets and other devices. Smart Power also includes an intelligent iOS and Android app that precisely analyzes a device’s battery life, so you’ll never have to worry about running out of batteries on the go. Since it’s a 5200mAh battery, it can charge your smartphone at least once, and still have a bit of juice left over. It’s available in a wide variety of six candy colors.
The Smart Power provides the exact battery status on your Apple and Android device’s screen while charging, so there’s no more guessing. Smart Power also precisely indicates remaining power with the app called Powerocks. It’ll show the power bank’s remaining battery capacity, status, voltage, charging time, remaining time, power evaluation, use frequency, percentage of remaining capacity, temperature, average current, and health index is all displayed through the app. The power bank also has standard LED indicators to show the approximate available power of the power bank charger, like most other external battery packs. It’s a great looking power bank that comes in yellow, pink, purple, blue, red, and silver.
The maximum output of the Smart Power is 2.1A, and an input of 1.5A. It’s portable and lightweight. The dimensions are 4.2 x 1.7 x 1 inch. The Powerocks Smart Power will be available in February 2014 from Powerocks website as well as Amazon and other retailers. It’ll be starting at $80. The Smart Power also comes with 2 Micro USB/USB ports, a microUSB/USB cable, and a water-resistant pouch. Additionally, Powerocks already carries a ton of other external battery packs including the Magic Cube, Stone3, Rose Stone, Super Magicstick, and the Flash Magicstick. All of which range in different sizes up to 12000mAh.
