Samsung's Galaxy Note Pro Now Available to Pre-Order in the UK, For £649

At this year’s CES, Samsung had a whole new line of tablets to announce. Well, how new they really were is up to you but, the Galaxy Note Pro was certainly something different. At 12.2-inches, it’s the largest Android tablet that Samsung has ever made and with an Exynos Octa-Core CPU and 3GB of RAM, it’s the most powerful, too. All of that power however, is obviously not going to come cheap and if you were thinking the Galaxy Note Pro was going to be Samsung’s most expensive tablet as well, then you’d be right.

The Galaxy Note Pro is now up for pre-order from Samsung UK and let’s just say, it’s not the best deal out there. There’s no word yet on how much the Galaxy Tab Pro line is going to cost, but if this is anything to go by, we’d expect high price tags across the board. Samsung has the Galaxy Note Pro listed at £649. Yes, you read that correctly, £649 for a tablet. Of course, this isn’t just any tablet and Samsung have put a whole lot of technology in here, with the S-Pen included it’s a compelling tablet. At 12.2-inches though, there’s no guaranteeing that customers will be interested in such a large slate and when you take into account its price tag, Samsung might be putting off even more customers. Still, if you pre-order the Note Pro soon, you get a free Gamepad, “worth” £59 so, there’s that we suppose.

These high prices of devices are pretty common in the UK and while that works out at $1,075 (as a direct conversion) we doubt Samsung will be charging quite as much when it launches in the US. If you’ve been dying to get your hands on a massive Galaxy Note tablet, then the Pro is the way to go. Our UK readers can pre-order  it right now from Samsung, but be aware that the device won’t be shipping until February 4th. We wonder if Samsung will throw in free next-day delivery…
