Sony Xperia Z1s Launches in T-Mobile Stores Today! Starting at $0 Down

Back at CES 2014, Sony announced the Xperia Z1s, which is coming to T-Mobile. And it’s actually coming in record time. It was announced on January 6th, pre-orders started January 13th, and it’s available today, January 22nd. Not bad at all Sony and T-Mobile. The Xperia Z1s, is essentially the Xperia Z1, but with a few tweaks, and it is exclusive to T-Mobile USA. The Xperia Z1s, now has the headphone jack in the center of the top. It’s also got plastic sides instead of aluminum on the Xperia Z1, and it has a few new apps inside the Camera app. Other than that it’s essentially the same device as the Xperia Z1 which launched last year in other parts of the world.

We reviewed the Xperia Z1s last week, and I actually quite liked it. Although I’d love to see Sony make thinner bezels, I still think it’s an amazing device. Especially the camera. You just can’t say enough about a camera, especially since it is a 20.7MP camera on a smartphone. You don’t see that too often these days, but I think in another year or so we will.

T-Mobile is offering the Sony Xperia Z1s for $0 down and $22/month for 24 months. So if you’re looking to get unlimited everything, it’ll cost you $92/month. And then if you want to add JUMP, it’ll jump up to $102. Which is still not bad, considering you’re getting unlimited data, and not too many carriers are still doing that these days. Of course you do have to pay $10 for the SIM starter kit unfortunately, but that’s only a one-time thing.

How many of our readers are looking at picking up the Xperia Z1s from T-Mobile today? How many of you pre-ordered yours last week? Let us know in the comments down below how you’re liking your device.
