This is actually something I’ve been waiting on for a while, since I refer people over to T-Mobile all the time. On Thursday, T-Mobile announced a new initiative which has T-Mobile paying you to refer your friends and family to the magenta carrier. You can get $25 per referral, and up to $250 per year in referrals. This is actually quite easy to get some big bucks from T-Mobile, if you’re someone like me and talks about phones and carriers all the time. I’ve already recommended T-Mobile to a ton of people and have gotten plenty of them to switch over.
Between T-Mobile paying for your ETF’s to switch to T-Mobile, and now offering to pay subscribers for referrals, I think T-Mobile’s Q1 numbers are going to be pretty impressive. Even if you thought their Q4 numbers were impressive, just wait. These two they are actually combining together. If you refer someone that is still in a contract, T-Mobile will give you $25, and they will pay that person’s ETF. Which is just amazing. Here’s a few of the frequently asked questions from the Referral site.
“We’ll pay for your friends to enjoy it too.
T-Mobile has done away with new two-year service contracts for our customers. And now you can help share that freedom – on the fastest nationwide 4G LTE network – with your friends and family who are with other carriers.
We’ll cover their early termination fees.
When your friends and family switch to T-Mobile from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint, we’ll help cover their early termination fees for up to 5 lines and give them an instant credit for their device trade in.
And we have something for you too.
For each successful referral you make through our Refer-a-Friend program, we’ll give you $25 to use at T-Mobile – up to $250 a year.
Tell your friends now so that they can experience wireless the way it should be.”
