Apex Launcher Gets Updated
This week, Apex updated their popular third-party launcher. Bringing it to version 2.3.0, which brings along the ability to sort apps in the app drawer, supports Apex Notifier v2.0, Added an icon label shadow in the app drawer, Fixed app/shortcut picker style and more.
Reddit Sync Beta Updated to v8.0.54
One of my favorite Reddit apps out there, Reddit Sync has just gotten a new beta version, bringing it to 8.0.54. It brings in a few new bug fixes as well as a new icon, gallery fixes and most importantly Immersive mode! Which should only work if you’re on Android 4.4 – KitKat.
Path for Android Gets Updated
Path also got updated this week and now allows you to record videos up to 30 seconds in length and has added some new filters. Along with fixing some bugs and bringing in some performance enhancements which we see with every update to an app.
CBS Sports Updates to v7.0
CBS Sports has been doing a pretty good job at updating their app and making it look and work pretty well. Their latest update makes the app look even better. It’s even more HOLO, if that were possible.
Breaking News Gets Redesigned
The Breaking News app also got a redesign this week. It’s not quite Holo, but it does look a whole lot nicer. Of course you’ll be able to use the Breaking news app to get all the latest on the 2014 Sochi Olympics which get underway tonight.
Kik Adds a web browser to their App
Kik also updated their app this week, in which they brought in a new web browser into the popular messaging app. So if someone sends you a link, you can visit it without leaving the app. Which isn’t a huge deal, but it is certainly nice to have in there.
Talon Updates to 1.3 Bringing Support for Twitpic, TwitLonger, Tweetmarker and more
Luke Klinker, who is one of the developers behind Talon, has just updated his new Twitter app to support a tone of new things like Twitpic, Twitlonger, Tweetmarker and much more services that Twitter doesn’t want you to have.
