The Winter Olympics got underway last night (at least for those of us in the US since NBC does a tape delay on the opening ceremonies). Just need a calendar of all the sporting events in Sochi? This app has you covered. It’ll show you the calendar for all the events for the Olympic games during the next two weeks. It’ll also show you the medal count per country, which is important too.

Here’s Samsung’s Winter Olympics companion. Why Samsung? Well they are a sponsor of the Winter Olympic Games this year. Their app is actually pretty nice looking and is now compatible with more than just Samsung devices.

We actually covered this app during the week here on the site. But it’s the official Winter Olympic Games app, from NBC. It’s actually a really nice looking app, even though the screenshots haven’t been updated since the 2010 Winter Olympics.
