Is this the Galaxy S5 Design? Looks Kind of Familiar and Different All at the Same Time

We’ve seen lots of leaks lately of the Galaxy S5, which we are expecting to be released at Unpacked on February 24th. Earlier today, the back of the retail box leaked out which gave us another look at the specs of the Galaxy S5. Which leads us to believe that we are going to be seeing a 5.25-inch QHD display, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 20MP camera on the back and a 2MP front-facing shooter. Which is about what we’ve been expecting. Although the camera has been jumping around lately, but a 20MP camera isn’t bad.

So now what about the design? Well Famed Apple leaker, Sonny Dickson has leaked out a nice render of what the Galaxy S5 could look like. Most of you probably haven’t heard of this guy before, but he’s a pretty popular Australian leaker who leaks stuff about the iPhone and iPad right before the announcement. And he has a pretty solid reputation around there, which is why we are covering this. The picture above, shows us what the Galaxy S5 could look like. Complete with a physical button on the front, speaker grill up top with all your sensors and camera. Along with the camera in the center and the flash below it on the back. The overall design looks a lot like the Galaxy S4, but it does appear that Samsung has closed up some of the ports on this one. So we might be looking at a Galaxy S5 Active type phone? I know that would make a lot of people happy.

According to this render, it does look like the Galaxy S4, but remember this isn’t real or confirmed just yet. So we’ll have to wait until February 24th to learn the full story on the Galaxy S5. Who’s excited for the launch of the Galaxy S5 later this month?
