So here we are a mere ten days away from Mobile World Congress and we’re even closer to getting a look at the next big thing from Samsung, the Galaxy S 5. Samsung has scheduled their Unpacked 5 event for the show next week, and is planning to show off the new phone at the event reportedly. We can’t do much but wait to see what Samsung has up their sleeves for the show, but it seems German Carrier O2 wants to give us a little something to sit on while we wait for MWC to begin. They have apparently started teasing the Samsung Galaxy S5 on their website, by creating a dedicated page where you can go and register for upcoming news and information on the Galaxy S 5. There isn’t any sort of detail on the page about the phone, but they did mention a nice little tagline that makes us wonder, and they placed it squarely above an image that seems to be of a handset immersed in water.
The tagline on the page reads, “Anticipation high 5. Get news about Samsung that can do more.” And that’s it. Off to the right of the page is where you can sign up for news and updates regarding the S5 and stuff from Samsung, and towards the bottom of the page they have links to other deals and information on other Samsung handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy S 3 and Galaxy S4 mini. The page also lists something that most of us already knew or had an idea about, which is that the phone would be unveiled at the end of this month. Seeing as how we just talked about earlier that Samsung would unveil the phone at their Unpacked 5 event, this is nothing new to many people. However, we’re sure that there are some people that had not been privy to that information before now, and may have seen that little bit for the first time. That’s really all there is to tell about this “teaser” page. We’re not even sure if we should be calling it that, but we’ll go with it for now.
